About this wine

Outside of Madrid nestled in La Mancha, yes, where Don Quixote took up a knight’s life of chivalry, is Finca la Estacada, a well-known Spanish winery and spa resort all rolled into one. While relaxing in a Mudéjar brick hotel at this “vineyard in the clouds” sounds more than just a little appealing, the next best thing to being there is cracking open this bottle of 100% Malbec. This grape is, for the most part, found in France and Argentina, but this producer manages to find a uniquely bold Spanish brightness and softness in this purple-hued juice.
