FRONT TOWARD ENEMY

The original claymore bag was developed by the U.S. Army to carry the M18A1 Claymore Mine, the M57 Firing Device (nicknamed the Clacker), and the M4 Blasting Cap Assembly with a 100 foot cord. These three pieces were placed in the two large pouches at the front of the bag so that individuals could easily carry them until needed.

Once the mine was used soldiers found that the empty bags worked great to carry extra rations, additional ammunition and personal items. The new Claymore Bag by GORUCK follows on in this tradition and makes an excellent messenger or vacation bag wherever you go. My Claymore Sling Everyday Carry includes a book, iPad, shemagh, notebook and water bottle.
