1. Begin by inserting the blade onto the top cap of your razor, followed by the base plate corresponding to the shave setting you wish to use. The number you see displayed on the bottom of your fully assembled razor is the size you're shaving with.
2. Ensure that you've thoroughly prepped your skin and hair with your favorite shave brush and cream (or shave soap) to ensure you achieve the smoothest shave possible.
3. With the handle securely twisted on, you're ready to start shaving! Using one side of your razor, use one-inch strokes moving downwards. You can use the other side of the blade once one side fills up with hair and foam.
Start by shaving downwards, allowing the weight of the razor to do the bulk of the work. You don’t want to press down on your skin. Rinse and repeat.
If you feel like you need a closer shave, or if you find the shave setting is too mild for your facial hair, feel free to switch to a higher shave setting.
There you have it! The key to a close, pain-free shave.
