Wassi’s Meat Market started in 1986 by Jan and Frank Wassi as a small Mom & Pop Meat Market, offering homemade sausages and hand cut meats, as well as all homemade salads, sides, pies and specialty dishes. The Wassi family has a history of sausage making and butchering dating back almost 100 years. Hill’s Kitchen is an independent gourmet kitchenware store that opened in May 2008 in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C, just seven blocks east of United States Capitol.
