Dear Fellow Tea Lover,
We want to wish every one of our customers a happy and safe July 4th Holiday. We hope you all have a great day!
Today we are introducing a new tea, for a limited time only, that is a great addition for the summer. Our Red, White, and Blue tea is a combination that makes a great Iced Tea. A blended black tea with flavors of blueberries and cherries with just a hint of vanilla makes a fantastic treat on these warm summer days and nights. Try it today.
Try this recipe to make a pitcher of this fantastic tea.
ICED TEA BREWING METHOD (Pitcher): (To Make 1 Liter/Quart):
Place 6 slightly heaping teaspoons of loose tea into a teapot or heat-resistant pitcher. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 1¼ cups/315ml over the tea. Steep for 5-8 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher straining the tea. Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced tea is to increase the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water. (Note: Some luxury quality teas may turn cloudy when poured over ice. This is a sign of luxury quality and nothing to worry about.)
As always thank you for reading. We hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead!
