The video really seemed to show its superior durability. I had previously been using Meguires traditional carnauba based wax and been dissatisfied with how quickly it lost its effectiveness. It was great at first but didn't last long. I followed TLC's recommendation and washed then clay barred my BMW 528 wagon. If you have never tried a clay bar product you absolutely must! This one product will improve you paint quality more than anything you've done in the past! I now need a product to keep it that nice as long as possible. I applied TLC per their directions. Super easy, although I probably used more than needed. Its a little tough to gauge because they say so little is required. I let it set overnight and then did a quick second coat on the hood for a little added protection. While I didn't notice a huge improvement in shine (my paint is in very good condition) it has been a couple of weeks since then and I can see that water still aggressively beads off. It almost seems like driving in a good rain storm is enough to "wash" the car. The real test will be to see how easy it will be to remove stuck on bugs and road grime when I wash it again. I'm optimistically expecting good results. Thinking of trying it on my wheels since they get so dirty so fast. I would definitely recommend the product so far. It may seem a little pricey, but it really doesn't take much to cover a car so I expect the bottle to last a long time. Your real savings are in how much less time you invest washing and protecting your car.
