More shine? Less frizz? Amazing texture? At goop, we want those benefits whether or not we blow-dry, flatiron, pile on styling products, or get chemical services to change our hair texture. “The same way I’d always rather use great skin care versus a ton of makeup,” says GP, “I want my hair to look and feel healthier, even without all the styling tricks.” |

The solution: a new preshampoo glow serum treatment that smooths damage, frizz, dryness, and split ends and adds noticeable shine and texture that last until your next shampoo. “It’s kind of a miracle on my hair,” says GP. “I leave it in for twenty minutes before I shampoo, and the results last until I shampoo again—I don’t know how it does it, but it’s amazing.” |

I color my hair, and I’d tried putting conditioner in it while I worked out. Bad idea: It would drip down my face—and not do much. A serum makes so much more sense. So before I exercise or do an infrared sauna, I shake up the serum and part my still dry hair into two sections. I smooth a dropperful of serum (how much you use depends on your hair type and length—mine needs a lot) between my hands and run it through my hair from root to tip, focusing on my ends, where there’s the most damage. |

I put it up in a Slip silk ponytail elastic and work out with the serum in my hair—you can’t overdo it on time.

Then I shower. I use the goop salt scrub shampoo twice a week, with the Crown Affair mask as a conditioner. I’m obsessed with it—it’s one of those things you can’t believe is clean. Or I do a lighter shampoo and conditioner like Innersense, which is fantastic. I also love the serum in the set from Crown Affair as a finishing product. |
