Is Sweet Itch Making Summer  Miserable for Your Horse?

The answer may be in your grooming box, but are you using it to your greatest advantage?

Dear Equiderma Family,

Summer doesn't have to be miserable for your Sweet Itch prone horse.

As summer heats up many of you are facing the challenge of helping our horse through the misery of Sweet Itch or insect bite hypersensitivity. Most of the calls we receive this time of year are from Equiderma users who are fighting Sweet Itch. Often the answer is already in their grooming box and they didn't know it. I thought it would be helpful to let you know how we deal with it at Equiderma and how you can use your products to get and keep your horse comfortable and happy all summer long.

There are 3 products in our line up that target Sweet Itch. Equiderma Neem Shampoo, Skin Lotion and Neem Horse Spray. These three will make you formidably effective in stopping Sweet Itch in its tracks. Follow these 3 easy steps and right away you'll stop the itch, begin to heal the skin and stop the cycle of sweet itch. You'll see a fast turnaround in the health of your horse's skin and a great increase in his comfort and happiness.

Here's how to use your Equiderma if your horse is suffering from sweet itch.

Step 1. - Equiderma Neem Shampoo.

Shampoo your horse with your Equiderma Neem Shampoo. Allow it to sit on the skin for up to an hour. It is chock full of soothing oils and herbs that will calm the itch and begin to heal the skin.

Step 2. - Equiderma Skin Lotion

Apply Equiderma Skin Lotion to all affected areas and leave it on. This will continue the healing process and keep any bloodsucking insects from coming back to feed.

Step 3. - Equiderma Neem Horse Spray

Apply Equiderma Neem Horse Spray. Like a liquid fly sheet, our spray will provide an overall protective barrier around your horse. The essential oils in our formula repel insects but are also healing agents for your horse's skin.

Many of you will already have these three powerhouses in your grooming box. For those of you who don't here's a special code to help you save on your Sweet Itch kit.

I hope you will let Equiderma help your horse. You CAN ABSOLUTELY overcome Sweet Itch by following our system.

As always, Thank you for allowing Equiderma to be a part of your horses care. It's an honor to be able to help.

Happy Summer Trails - With Love From My Heart to Yours,

This spring I was contemplating putting this pony down, due to severe allergies. For the past 10 summers, she has been miserable, locked up on dry lot, covered in a flysheet, sprayed multiple times a day, given monthly allergy shots along with supplements. Nothing was working to give her relief. Her legs, face and belly rubbed raw and scratching on fences, or anything available. As a last effort, I tried Equiderma Fly Spray, shampoo and skin lotion. This summer was the best she has been in 10 years. Not perfect, but much better and manageable. I actually put her back in training and have been driving her since July. Thank you for saving this sweet pony.

My boy, Rebel, has suffered with sweet itch . We have been giving him a product in his feed for over a year now but he has still suffered. I bought the spray, shampoo and lotion and he is looking SO much better! His sores are gone and his mane is growing back! Thank you.

I've owned horses pretty much all of my life, I had heard of Sweet Itch but had never seen a case of it. I'm 73 years old and think I take good care of my horses. All of a sudden there is stuff hanging off their skin and they are beginning to rub bare spots on their necks and shoulders and mane. YIKES! I was freaking out, what the heck is going on! My beautiful Friesian Mare and her 1/2 Arabian Son suddenly look like they are neglected or abused. Very Scary, not only do they look horrible but they are obviously miserable and itch terribly. I hopped on to the Computer and looked for such conditions. Sweet Itch! The pictures on the internet were really scary, I could not imagine my horses with large patches of hair rubbed out and their manes and tails nearly bare like those pictures so I started looking for solutions right away and found Equiderma. I read some of the reviews and decided to try Equiderma. Thank goodness for the others who have gone before and found relief for their horses. My horses really responded well to the Shampoo and Lotion. That Lotion is just excellent for keeping the biting gnats away and for soothing the horse so that it no longer rubs and scratches. I now keep the Shampoo and Lotion on hand at all times. We live in Hawaii so I may not be able to eliminate the gnats but I can keep my horses safe and comfortable with Equiderma products. Thank you to the people and the horses that developed Equiderma products.

Our poor Miss Piper was so uncomfortable with sweet itch until we got your product! Thanks so much for a happy horse again, who loves her grand humans!

My horse has terrible sweet itch and rubs his mane and tail out every summer. I've tried the immunotherapy allergy shots, steroids, allergy pills, and nothing helped him. Last year I tried the lotion for the first time and he stopped itching and was noticeably more comfortable! His hair had been broken off and felt like dry straw, but within weeks of starting to use the lotion, his hair grew back!

I own both a grey and a bay mare. My grey horse reacts to bug bites like crazy. We live in the midwest and both horses are turned out 24/7. Equiderma products have "the girls" happy in the grass even at the height of the insect season. Neem and Aloe Horse spray is awesome. It smells great, does not irritate and KEEPS BUGS AWAY! Even ticks. I spray them a.m. and p.m. I always thought I needed a heavy chemical spray, but even those have limited effectiveness. I much prefer the sweet scent, healthy ingredients and comparative effectiveness of the Equiderma horse spray. Thank you!!

Jazzy had horrible sweet itch last year. I tried steroid shots, antifungal medication and antibiotics from the vet. Also, creams, ointments, sprays homemade and purchased. Nothing worked!! My poor guy was miserable! He scratched off most of his mane so we roached it and he had lots of wounds caused by scratching and biting. The cold weather came and he finally got relief. In the meantime I read about Equiderma so ordered the shampoo, lotion, wound ointment and fly spray. At the first sign of itching I started using all the products as needed, Jazzy looks Great and hasn't had the itching at all like last year! I'm so happy. I tell anyone who has any similar problems about Equiderma. It really works and smells good.

My 13-year-old QH Hope has sensitive skin issues. Everything I tried on her would cause her to break out in welts or make her itch so bad she was miserable. A fellow rider recommended Equiderma to me. I started with the starter kit, shampoo, conditio
