When I was little I was learning classical ballet. My mother made all of my costumes.
Most of the items that I was using was made by her.
She was very good at sewing and she was making something every day.
She influenced me to use my hands and make things, and I ended up loving to create.
I believe those ballet costumes were the starting point of my creation that stayed with me all these years.
I am fascinated by the beauty of couture, such as hand-sewn sequins or rhinestones. I am greatly influenced by the forms of the ballet costumes that allow all kinds of movements.
My creation is always comfortable to wear and functional yet the forms must be visually beautiful.
