Returning to Rosyth
It’s now under a month until Balmoral begins a series of cruises from Rosyth. Her first adventure will take guests to discover the hidden gems, folklore and culture of Norway’s Fjords in eight-nights. As we count down the days, we thought you might like to see some photos from our recent sailings to our homeland so far this year. Tempted to join us? See our photos ▸ |

Sunset snaps
Sunsets are always special, but even more so when at sea. Not much beats relaxing out on deck in the presence of a glorious horizon of colour! Our guests seem to think the same, and have shared many of their own spectacular sunset photos taken while on board our smaller ships. Take a moment to view our gallery and dream of your next cruise adventure. Take a look ▸ |

Captain Valentin’s story
We believe a Fred. Olsen cruise is all about the people, which is why we love sharing stories with you from our family on board, our crew. Today is the turn of Captain Valentin, our new master on Balmoral, who’s given us a little insight into how he feels about leading the helm on board our much-loved smaller ship. Watch our video ▸ |

Around the UK with Bolette
Guests aboard our flagship Bolette are currently circumnavigating the UK, journeying away from well-sailed routes, to behold sights such as the striking Fingal’s Cave and historic Duart Castle. Our on-board photographers have captured many scenic highlights, showing us that there’s nothing quite like seeing the beauty of the British Isles while cruising. Just see for yourself... Update to wearing face masks on board |
We are really pleased to let you know that you can now choose whether or not to wear a mask on board any of our ships. This is in line with the relaxation of restrictions in the UK and other countries. |
With the interest of keeping everyone safe, we will continue to ensure all guests are fully-vaccinated and that they have tested negative for Covid before boarding. Please note that some destinations may require you to wear a mask, if this is the case, we will let you know before we arrive. |
