Globally, the second-hand market is projected to double in the next five years, reaching $77 billion. Resale platforms and online marketplaces are the driving force behind this growth, expected to grow 11 times faster than the broader retail clothing sector. Through the pandemic, consumer perspectives have shifted, with 1 in 3 consumers caring more about sustainable apparel. Younger generations are more invested in the circular fashion movement and are powering the rise of secondhand clothing.
In just a few short years at Azura fashion Group we have managed to build a strong global business in this space by managing and moving returns through our global logistics network; selling predominantly off-season luxury fashion and providing one of the world’s largest Pre-Loved fashion catalogues to global marketplaces such as Farfetch, Net-a-Porter, Vestiaire Collective and leading Australian retailer, The ICONIC.
We are now looking to scale the business and I'm excited to announce that we are Capital Raising for Azura Fashion Group to move us into our next phase of growth. We have grown rapidly over the last 3 years globally, and now have relationships with over 55 marketplaces in 17 countries. It's been an exciting ride that is for sure.
