1st year
Borealis’ first year
In just a few days’ time we will be marking the first year’s anniversary of our return to the seas, as Borealis set sail on her Maiden Voyage on 5th July 2021. To celebrate, we’ve curated a photo gallery of some of our favourite sailing moments enjoyed by guests and crew aboard our new ship. What a year it has been! See our highlights ▸
Adriatic adventures
Adriatic adventures
Today Bolette returns from her sailing to the Adriatic, where guests got to enjoy scenic cruising under clear skies and days spent exploring destinations in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and more. Under the command of Captain Jozo Glavić, our flagship became the first cruise ship to sail under the new Pelješac Bridge in Neum – a spectacular accolade! View photos ▸
Andy Godfrey
Meet Andy Godfrey
Our crew are at the heart of ensuring guests have a fantastic time on board and so we love to learn more about their lives and careers so far. This week we are proud to put the spotlight on Andy Godfrey, Entertainments Manager currently aboard Balmoral. Andy joined us late last year and has brought some great gameshows, murder mysteries and more.

Swimming to victory
Swimming to victory
Earlier this week Bolette’s crew took part in a swimming relay, raising money for the St Elizabeth Hospice. Volunteers from different teams went head-to-head, with guests placing bets on who they thought could be the champion. The event raised £786.14 for the charity in just one afternoon – thank you to all who took part and donated! See our highlights ▸
Where in the world?
Where in the world?
With summer in full swing, our smaller ships are busy sailing to some of the world’s most beautiful, scenic regions. Today, Balmoral is on the way to Tromsø, Norway. Bolette is welcoming guests aboard for a summertime sailing of our homeland’s fjords. While Borealis is taking an extended stay in the verdant Azores. Where will they sail next? Update to wearing face masks on board
We are really pleased to let you know that you can now choose whether or not to wear a mask on board any of our ships. This is in line with the relaxation of restrictions in the UK and other countries.
With the interest of keeping everyone safe, we will continue to ensure all guests are fully-vaccinated and that they have tested negative for Covid before boarding. Please note that some destinations may require you to wear a mask, if this is the case, we will let you know before we arrive.
