Publius, remember the first commandment of wealth: "thou shalt not only have one stream of income".

One of the best ways to have another stream of income is by helping businesses make more money.

Copywriting (using writing to sell) is a skill you can use to do exactly that from home.

I will teach you how to use short and simple sentences to have another stream of income.

2. How Ryan Reynolds used controversy in 2019 to market Aviator Gin
Within the past few years, the actor who played Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds, has become a good marketer.

In a nutshell, through Maximum Effort, Ryan Reynold's marketing agency, he takes trending news and uses it as the core of his marketing campaigns.

Back in 2019, the fitness equipment company, Peloton, lost a reported $1.5 billion in value over an ad thought to be sexist.

It was big news…

What Ryan Reynolds did was take advantage of the controversy.

He hired the actress, who was going viral thanks to the Peloton controversy, for an ad promoting Aviator Gin.

Fast forward to August 2020, Aviation Gin was sold to the liquor company Diageo for a reported $600 million dollars.

Obviously it takes more than one good ad to build a company that can be sold for that price.

But, having the marketing savvy to build a brand and bring millions of dollars in sales to a company is a key component to building a thriving business.

Remember this phrase: revenue cures all.

So ask yourself, how can you use controversy to bring in more money to your business, or to increase your income?

There is one caveat though… you can take it too far. If you are too polarizing you can get banned from social media platforms.

Use controversy, but don't overuse it.
