Global launch: the Gaulino Chair, an icon of 20th century design, is further realized with a a seating range and a dining table, all industrially handmade of FSC-certified ash in Spain.
Curves and contours characterize the collection by Oscar Tusquets, one of founding 4 of BD Barcelona. He first introduced the chair in 1987, calling to mind his influences, Antonio Gaudi and Carlo Mollino.
It also reflects the eclectic edge and quality manufacturing that are cornerstones of BD Barcelona, a design collective founded in 1972 by a handful of young buck architects. The Spanish house has brought to market the flights of fancy of Salvador Dali and Ettore Sottsass, and continues fostering the likes of Jamie Hayon, Cristian Zuzunaga, Konstantin Grcic and Doshi Levien, among other designing non-conformists.
A+R is thrilled to have the full range of BD Barcelona available to you. Find the developing range on line, or contact an A+R design advisor for a specific work.
