Hey there!

When we talk about 40 million pounds of trash removed from the ocean, it’s easy to lose sight of just how much that really is.

Picture 9,000 mid-size SUVs stacked together or 800 MILLION plastic bottles – that's the impact we’ve made so far. But what’s even more impressive is how we’ve done it.

  • Beach Cleanups – Our crews walk miles up and down coastlines, collecting trash by hand and filling up large Super Sacks with the plastic and debris they find.

  • Ocean Cleanups – From our vessels, we scoop plastic directly out of the water, often intercepting it before it can wash ashore or break into smaller pieces.

  • River Cleanups – Using our River Collection Boats, we target plastic at the source – removing it from some of the most polluted rivers before it ever reaches the ocean.

  • Underwater Tire Removal – Our teams dive beneath the surface to collect tires that have been dumped or lost in the ocean, clearing critical habitats for marine life.

  • Ghost Net Recovery – We also work through dense mangroves to collect abandoned or "ghost" fishing nets, which are notorious for entangling and harming wildlife.

Each of these methods requires specialized equipment and a whole lot of teamwork, but every piece of plastic we remove brings us one step closer to succeeding in our mission to end the ocean plastic crisis.

Reaching 40 million pounds has been an incredible journey, but there’s still a lot of work that remains to be done.

If you’d like to be part of the solution and help us make an even bigger impact, then I invite you to check out our elite membership program, the Clean Ocean Club.

It allows you to directly fund the removal of 25 pounds of plastic from the ocean each month, and comes with awesome membership perks that will give you exclusive access to 4ocean.

Over one thousand of our most enthusiastic supporters have joined as Founding Members, and I’d love for you to be a part of it too.
