Both shaped by world-class winemaker Jac Cole—an author of legendary, long-lived wines at Spring Mountain Vineyards and Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars—these bottles portray two phenomenal Napa Valley vintages and vineyards through a decade-long lens.
Castellucci’s 2014 Rutherford Cabernet was grown on the family’s vineyard between Silverado Trail and Zinfandel Lane, across the Napa River from Quintessa and not far from Sullivan Estate. Their 2015 Fern Rock Vineyard Cabernet hails from a steep, dramatic Spring Mountain site that’s been a vineyard for over a century. The high-elevation terraced vines, planted in 1993, produce a remarkable Cabernet with deeply concentrated fruit, graceful complexity, and refined tannins.

2014 Castellucci Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford
A dusty ruby core with a bright edge. Aromas of wild berries, cherry, and plum, all wrapped in layers of lilac and holiday spice with a hint of tobacco. The mouthfeel is complex, mature yet youthful, with a vibrant midpalate. Silky tannins deliver a long-lasting finish. This Cabernet shows off a fantastic vintage and graceful aging, straight from the estate. Drink now–2030.
2015 Castellucci Cabernet Sauvignon Fern Rock Vineyard Spring Mountain District Napa Valley
A deep, dark ruby decorates the glass. The aromas are led by a bounty of black cherry accented by lilacs and violets, with cassis, chaparral, and mocha. The palate is remarkably juicy and lush, with layers of cocoa and black fruit carried on stern tannins that deliver a long-lasting finish. Majestic, bold, and muscular. Drink now–2035.
