Calling all KnitCrate Crafters! 

It's our time to put on our crafted capes! With the tragic fires spreading through Australia, the wildlife has suffered tremendously. With the fatalities of animals rising and hundreds of thousands reported as injured, crafters around the world are coming together to build new beds and shelters for the thousands of displaced animals.

The Animal Rescue Craft Guild has organized a call for different types of cozy items for the injured animals and we hope we can all use our passion for this important cause. Please click the link below to check out the list of patterns they are requesting and join us in stitching cozy shelters for the injured wildlife.

There are a bunch to choose from - small mittens for koala’s whose paws have been burned, medium-sized pouches for baby “joey” kangaroos who have lost their mothers, bird nests, cozy pouches for little marsupials and the list goes on. Our hearts are broken seeing so many injured animals but we are sure we can come together to make a difference in the life of an innocent creature!
