Welcome to Cozy Season, friends!
I’ve been cookin’ up a storm lately, and I thought it’d be fun to share a little roundup of what’s inspiring me in the kitchen and beyond. From new cookware colors (so fun!) to the hearty recipe I can’t stop making, here’s what’s bringing me joy this season:
✨ My newest cookware color: Hazelnut, I’m obsessed with this warm, earthy shade. The Cucina Ceramic colors were inspired by my pantry and my travels — think Tuscan markets, ripe tomatoes, olives, and terracotta tiles. They’re cozy and inviting, but special enough to go straight from stove to table.
✨ Kitchen hack I can’t stop using: And if you know me, you know that’s true! Grating garlic instead of chop-chop-chopping it is a total game changer. A good multi-grater minces it effortlessly so it melts right into whatever you’re cooking. And when it comes to a dressing, you get all that garlicky flavor everywhere without those alarming chunky bit-hazards. It’s grating… and great. True story, I just did it.
✨ What’s playing in my kitchen: My playlists are all over the place (no surprise there). One minute it’s the Foo Fighters, the next it’s Taylor Swift. Keeps me movin’ while I’m stirrin’.
✨ My latest recipe obsession: Right now I can’t get enough of a simple Tuscan white bean and kale soup. It’s hearty, healthy, and ready in under 30 minutes. I drizzle good olive oil on top and serve it with crusty bread. Pure comfort in a bowl.
✨ If I had to pick one tool: It’s hearty food season — soups with sausage, big batches of sauce — and when you’re cooking and need to crush up sausage or any kind of ground meat, or break down canned whole plum tomatoes for a Bolognese, this tool’s your best friend. Crush and chop your way through the season. Just sayin’ — it makes quick work of the sausage in that Tuscan white bean and kale soup.
Thanks for hanging with me! I love sharing these little slices of life with you. It feels like we’re cookin’ together!
XO, Rach
