Hey Friends,
The window is open, and it closes faster than people realize.
Early May is one of the best times to be in most of Europe. Prices haven't peaked, crowds are thin, the weather is good. Barcelona in May is a different city than Barcelona in August. Same with Porto, Rome, Amsterdam. The people who travel there in shoulder season and the people who go in July are having different trips entirely.
That kind of travel requires a different relationship with your gear. Not something you have to think about. Not something you have to wrestle with the night before. Something that’s already dialed, ready to go. and packed the way you like it. Easy to grab when the opportunity shows up.
One customer spent over 200 days on the road last year. After his first trip with our backpack, he wrote: “Such an incredible backpack for people who travel. Well laid out and thoughtful with pockets and storage.” Then he bought two more as gifts.
That’s the thing about gear that actually works. It removes friction. It makes the decision to go just a little bit easier, and the trip itself a lot better.
If you can – do it. Book the flight, figure out the details. The decision to go is the hard part. Everything after that is logistics.
