Hi there, What a fortnight for sport. Wimbledon reaches finals weekend, the World Cup is into the knockout rounds, and there's cricket being played the length of the country. Whether you're glued to the telly or feeling inspired to dust off a racket yourself, summer is a lovely time to move a little more. And if you fancy trying something new, be kind to yourself and start gently. A stroll to the park counts, and research shows green exercise (movement in nature) has additive effects for your mental wellbeing. Warm weather does change what your body needs, though. A few things worth knowing from our science team: Drink before you're thirsty. Thirst is a late signal, so by the time it kicks in you may already be a bit behind on your hydration.
