Shipping has started!Â
Happy Friday everyone!
We have officially started shipping our April crates today in small batches. We are moving a little slower than normal since we have to stick to less than 10 employees in the warehouse at a time but we are keeping a good pace. As always, we are shipping all international orders first although our courier has reported that post offices worldwide are already experiencing delays. USPS is still preparing parcels for departures and processing them through but airlift capacity has been drastically reduced so it may take longer than normal for tracking numbers to update. So far 51 countries have suspended their post services entirely. This means international customers may encounter some extended delays but all packages will be distributed once normal operations resume.Â
We are just as excited as you are for you to enjoy your crates, but please be patient while we navigate these unchartered waters. As always, our team is here to offer support should anything happen once things go back to normal.Â
We mentioned it in the Full Reveal newsletter but wanted to remind you that we are shipping the contents of your crate inside of a soft mailer bag instead of the usual cardboard crate. This is allowing our team to build your packages faster to account for the lack of staff and it is facilitating zero contact delivery since these fit better into mailboxes.Â
If you have any questions, feel free to reply to this email to get in touch with our Customer Service Team.Â
With lots of love,Â
Rob and your KnitCrate Team
