Ted knew where I was coming from and I understood it was his job to make sure our department was servicing a certain amount of customers and reaching an X amount of sales every week.
I became a mechanic because I genuinely wanted to help people. But this job turned me into a salesperson. I hated it, but I had no choice because my wife and I had just recently bought a house and I promised her we’d be ok.
