February kicks off today, with the theme of LOVE. And we don't mean cute little Cupids on $10 Hallmark cards — we want to take this theme of LOVE up a notch. Cupid is even the son of Ares, the God of War, and that is not by accident.
We’re talking about the deepest of loves that a person can have. Absolute commitment to others — to God, to family, to country, to loved ones. And what that love, that commitment inspires us to do in life. War and love are intimately related, as no war is worth fighting without Love in your heart for someone, something, or some way of life you hold great value in.

In honor of those Marines who began the battle for Iwo Jima in February of 1945.
Rucking: 4 x 5 Miler throughout the month.
