Hortense Maskens

Taking the basic knitting skills she learned when she was young, Hortense Maskens created Knitting with Chopsticks as a way to give back to the maker community and share her easy knitting and crochet patterns with beginners everywhere who want to take the next step. Her goal is to break down patterns so they’re simple enough for others to create exactly what they want, the way they want it. Hortense is an engineer by trade, and a crafter by passion, which means all of her patterns have an extreme attention to detail, thorough explanations and step by step pictures.
