AJ Fernandez New World Dorado
The New World Dorado hones in on one of A.J.'s most recent farms: Dorado, located in Estelí, Nicaragua. Differing from the conventionally ash-gray soil of the region, Dorado's soil is golden in appearance, inspiring both the farm and cigar's names. With the Dorado cigar, A.J. wanted to highlight the farm's unique leaf, so the decision was made to craft the cigar almost entirely from Dorado-grown tobacco. This is evidenced from wrapper to filler, including a sun-grown Habano cover, a Criollo ’98 binder, and all-nicaraguan fillers of Dorado, Estelí, and Jalapa.
It's not often you get to experience a puro rolled from all-new tobaccos, making the New World Dorado cigar among the most unique in the AJF portfolio. The cigar is medium-plus in body and closer to full in flavor, showing standout flavors of cedar, citrus, buttery coffee bean, and sweet earth.
