We've rounded up our most frequently asked turkey questions this year and compiled them just for you!
- When using our Poultry Hangers, The 14" Pit Barrel Junior can fit (1) 17lb Turkey. The 18.5" Pit Barrel can fit two medium sized turkeys (up to 15lbs each) or (1) large Turkey. The PBX and fit up to (5) 15lbs Turkeys snugly (or 4 comfortably).
- Cooking more than one turkey will not prolong cook time.
- Yes! You can stuff your turkey prior to cooking though this may require a longer cook time to ensure proper doneness of the stuffing and may effect the moistness of the turkey. If you do choose to stuff your bird, make sure that all stuffing ingredients are thoroughly cooked prior to consumption!
- ALWAYS monitor the temperature of the dark meat with an effective thermometer. We recommend Thermoworks. You can purchase your thermometer here!
