Heat waves worldwide are dominating the news this summer. Take these preventative measures now for both you and your pets to avoid an ER visit later.

Always keep your dog’s water bowl full and easily accessible
When outside, keep them restricted to shaded areas
Restrict walks to the early morning (before 9 a.m.) and after 6 p.m. in order to avoid the hottest parts of the day
NEVER leave them in a hot car
