Meet SaraMae Hollandsworth, GORUCK Athlete. She is one of the toughest people you'll ever meet. Back in 2012, while training for a half-marathon & fitness competition and finishing her degree, Sara started having lower hip and back pain. She went into organ failure and was put on life support. Her doctors worked hard to keep blood flowing to her brain and vital organs, but unfortunately she lost blood flow in her feet and required double amputation at the knee. She's gone through hell and back, but it hasn't slowed her down one bit.
