In 2024, Savage Race is partnering with GORUCK as the official rucking division sponsor, and the GORUCK Mackall shoe as the official shoe of the division. GORUCK and Savage Race have partnered for years, and they are excited about expanding their partnership.

The Rucking Division is meant to be a fun way for people to ruck Savage Race courses. There are no strict rules or minimum weight requirements to participate. Participants can ruck however much weight they want and can remove the ruck for any obstacles where it does not make sense to wear it.

The Rucking Division will feature a special Savage Race x GORUCK patch for all finishers, in addition to a t-shirt and medal. Additionally, the GORUCK x Savage Race collection of apparel and accessories will be available for purchase. The collection includes the GORUCK Mackall shoe, which is built to endure the rigors of Special Forces Obstacle Courses.
